The thesis

Weather moves generation. Demand shapes pressure. The system connects them.

Wind and solar output are only one part of the energy picture. A credible view of power markets must also account for demand, conventional availability, storage, flows, regional structure and uncertainty at each stage.

Power.Cal is intended to model that chain as connected evidence, not compress it into a convenient but unexplained signal.

Every conversion adds a question.

Power.Cal must evaluate each layer separately so a wrong result cannot disappear into a generic “the model was wrong” label.

The market signal comes after the physical model.

Price or order-book information must not be allowed to rewrite the underlying energy forecast. Opportunity assessment is a later, separately governed step.

What must exist first

Power.Cal begins with a dependable data foundation.

The agent will not be declared operational because a small demonstration looks plausible. Weather coverage, generation and demand actuals, regional mapping, evaluation metrics and a defined data-product contract must come first.
